LUCID BOUNDARIES - HoloJam #5

In Lucid Boundaries, players dive into the psyche of a young man unknowingly subjected to a virtual experiment where his deepest fears and desires intertwine into a surreal, shifting reality. Trapped in this digital world crafted from fragments of his mind, he must navigate environments that shape-shift between comforting and terrifying, reflecting his innermost thoughts.

As he traverses through warped landscapes that echo his past, players face challenges embodying his fears and dreams, uncovering clues about the experiment’s true purpose. Each step blurs the lines between reality and illusion, forcing him to confront himself in ways he never imagined. Will he escape this twisted virtual labyrinth, or will he become a prisoner of his own psyche?

"Lucid Boundaries" explores the fine line between our greatest fears and desires, questioning what happens when those lines begin to blur.

The atmosphere here is really cool but there's a pretty big bug in it right now. Sometimes when I interact with objects with the E key it doesn't do anything and I am no longer able to move. If this happens in a spot where I can interact with a door then I can go into a different room to free myself, but otherwise its a softlock. Don't know if its a pattern but it only happened when I tried to interact with the member pictures (in the first long hallway and during the last segment with the oshi marks)

In the hallway part, nothing actually happens if you try interacting with the wrong photo—my bad for not adding a hint about that

And the part where you can’t move is actually to prevent a 'teleportation' bug in the white house scene, but you’re right, it definitely needs to be refined a bit more

Thank you, now I have a better idea of what I need to improve :D
